About Potential Dangers of Online Drug Purchases
The Minnesota Pharmacists Foundation formed in May 2003 to enhance patient care practices and the development of leadership opportunities for
Minnesota pharmacists. The foundation promotes and communicates leading-edge practice innovations that consistently demonstrate improved patient
outcomes.
GOALS:
- To communicate to the general public the value of pharmacist provided Medication Therapy Management System that improves
patients’ health outcomes.
- To promote to employers and employees the value of pharmacists’ professional services, which include optimum drug therapy management, and
improved patient outcomes.
- To publicize the value of pharmacists in today’s health care system. This may include educating patients on the scope of pharmacists’ services
through press releases, seminars, radio or other media and coordination at public health fairs.
- We invite you to join the efforts of many individuals and corporations in advancing and supporting the goals of the Minnesota Pharmacists Foundation.
Every gift, no matter what amount, will be an important part of the Foundations fund drive and will contribute to fulfilling the mission of the
Minnesota Pharmacists Foundation.
The Foundation has been active by
- Awarding scholarships annually to pharmacy students at the University of Minnesota campuses in Duluth and Minneapolis.
- Helped bring the Meth Watch program to Minnesota to help educate consumers and retailers on meth awareness.
