Technology Advancement Fund MPhA is enhancing its current technology system to provide improved and expanded services. As MPhA continues to move forward, we’ve realized the need to update the core of our office technology – our database! A little clumsy and outdated for today’s professional needs, we have identified a new system that will not only enhance office performance, but provide expanded benefits to our membership as well! Your donation to the Technology Advancement Fund is appreciated. When looking at new replacement systems, we looked closely for important features that our membership told us were important. We are happy to have found a solution that will not only exceed our current operations, but can grow with the association and its’ members into the future. As with any long term investment, new technology comes at a price. We have negotiated hard to reach a fair contract price, but additional revenue is still needed to prevent the association taking on debt. We are also sensitive to the desire of members to not increase dues. The solution was the creation of the Technology Advancement Fund to build the revenue necessary for MPhA to acquire the new database system. WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT In today’s technology savvy world, we know how much you depend on the ability to communicate with peers and access your information quickly. When reviewing new database options, it was important to us that the benefits to members were just as relevant as the benefits to our staff. The proposed database system would allow for more direct peer communication and a personal home page. Update your profile information in real time, and access your CE reports and invoice/payment summaries. Viewing upcoming events is a snap - you can even review the attendee list for upcoming conferences to see which of your peers have already registered! It is our hope that you will be as excited about the new features as we are, and assist us with a small one-time donation to help get us going. Every dollar helps, and if you choose to donate with your renewal, your donation can be split monthly with your dues.
