MPhA Town Hall Meeting Next Week: Aligning the Stars — What All Pharmacists Should Know about Star Ratings and Quality Measures
Tuesday, June 16 • 6:00 p.m. CDT • Sartell, MN
MPhA’s Town Hall Meetings offer a great opportunity to network with your colleagues and with MPhA leaders. In addition, you’ll pick up tips that can improve your practice! Increasingly, quality measures are being used to rate health plans and determine reimbursement structures in both the public and private sectors. Pharmacists can help contribute to improving a plan’s quality measures and ratings. Those who don’t may be at risk for being excluded from providing services in networks. You’ll hear from MPhA Past President Randy Seifert, PharmD, Senior Associate Dean of the College of Pharmacy of the University of Minnesota. Randy will discuss the various quality measures being used by the National Committee for Quality Assurance and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Learn what Star ratings are and what they mean in health plans. How can pharmacists have an impact on them? How do Minnesota health plans stack up? This interactive session will allow you to create a quality game plan for yourself! Get more information and register today! How do Minnesota health plans stack up?
