MPhA is partnering with others in the pharmacy community to promote engagement in the 2016 Elections. Beyond the White House, our state will elect 209 leaders (8 US Representatives, all 67 State Senators, all 134 State Representatives) who will construct the laws by which we are able to serve our patients. Pharmacy needs to speak loud and clear on Election Day. The first step toward Election Day happens next week, as Minnesotans head to precinct caucuses on Tuesday, March 1.
To help you, we are pleased to share with you an online resource, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) RxIMPACT Votes. This resource provides the information you need to become aware of offices/candidates up for election, election and voter registration dates, and other helpful information. This bipartisan effort does not back particular candidates for office. Review the below online materials — and join the NACDS RxIMPACT Advocates Group on LinkedIn to receive even more related updates and resources. Click here to join!
You may attend a precinct caucus even if you are not yet registered to vote. To participate, you must be eligible to vote in the November general election and live in the precinct. Additional information is available on the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website.
