NASPA Vaccine Confidence Influencer Opportunity
In partnership with the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA), we are launching efforts to strengthen vaccine confidence by amplifying the trusted voices of local, community-based pharmacy vaccinators. Minnesota pharmacy vaccinators are invited to serve as one of our state’s local vaccine confidence influencers, a role that elevates your expertise, strengthens our profession’s impact, and ensures real-world pharmacy perspectives inform a national campaign.
Participants should be active vaccinators in their communities. Pharmacy interns and technicians who are serving as vaccinators are also welcome to participate.
Deadline: June 1
What We’re Asking of You
This role is designed to be meaningful but not burdensome. Local vaccine influencers will:
- Complete brief regular surveys (5–7 questions): These brief check-ins will capture real-time insights on vaccine uptake, patient concerns, operational challenges, and emerging misinformation trends.
- Serve as a local spokesperson: NASPA and the state association may invite you to participate in short interviews or provide quotes. This is always optional, and we will guide and support you every step of the way.
- Share campaign messaging on your personal or professional social media accounts: Local influencers may help extend the reach of key messages by posting provided content, graphics, or statements, which are always product-unbranded and aligned with professional standards.
- Help identify additional local pharmacy influencers: These may be colleagues who regularly immunize, are active in their communities, or have earned the trust of local patients and communities.
Why Participate?
Serving as a local vaccine influencer offers a range of meaningful advantages:
- Professional visibility and leadership: You will be elevated as a trusted expert helping shape statewide and national vaccine confidence efforts.
- Support your state pharmacy association: You will help the MPhA advance an important project to improve patient care in our communities.
- Direct impact on public health: Your real-time observations will guide coordinated state and national responses designed to support pharmacy vaccinators, improve communication, and reduce misinformation.
- Access to resources: Receive early access to NASPA-developed tools, messaging guidance, and communication resources.
- Advancing the profession: Your participation ensures your on-the-ground experience informs policy, media discussions, and public-facing narratives.
- Minimal time commitment: Surveys take only a few minutes, with optional opportunities for those who want to engage more deeply.
