Minnesota Pharmacy Legislative Day 2020

Are you ready to make a difference to advocate for your professional interests and for pharmacy’s interests to advance patient care? Come to Minnesota Pharmacy Legislative Day and learn how! Even if you have never talked with, called or written your legislators before, this event will give you the tools you need to do so!

Minnesota Pharmacy Legislative Day is the one annual event that represents the voice of all pharmacy settings in Minnesota for legislators, the governor and other policy makers!

  • Learn about issues affecting pharmacy practice in Minnesota
  • Gain vital advocacy tools
  • Network with colleagues and key policymakers.

The day will feature a morning session, afternoon at the Capitol and an evening networking reception and program, complete with meals throughout the day and more than 5 hours of continuing education!

The Minnesota Pharmacy Alliance, MPhA, MSHP, the Minnesota Retailers Association and the Minnesota Grocers Association look forward to seeing you there!


Full Day- Continental breakfast, lunch and hors d’oeuvres buffet

  • Pharmacist/Resident - $90 ($100 after February 7)
  • Student/Technician - $30 ($40 after February 7)

Morning Only- Continental breakfast and lunch

  • Pharmacist/Resident - $60 ($70 after February 7)
  • Student/Technician - $20 ($30 after February 7)

Evening Only- Hors d’oeuvres buffet and cash bar

  • Pharmacist/Resident - $50 ($60 after February 7)
  • Student/Technician - $20 ($30 after February 7)

Dress Code

Please wear business attire (including your white coats) for Minnesota Pharmacy Legislative Day.

* If you would like to request a meeting with legislators during the afternoon of Minnesota Pharmacy Legislative Day, please note your request when you complete your registration. You may accompany a colleague on a visit and/or request a colleague accompany you.

Please provide your legislative district based on your home address.

The Minnesota Pharmacists Association is accredited by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Following attendance, completion and submission of evaluation forms, certificates will be available on the MPhA website for members. Certificates will be sent by email to all paid attendees within one week of the event.

Satisfactory Completion for Credits: All attendees must have signed in as required, completed and turned in a course evaluation form prior to leaving the conference. Each session claimed for credit must be attended in its entirety.

This program will provide up to 4.5 contact hours. (2.25 credits morning program and 2.25 afternoon program credits)

To receive Board of Pharmacy credits for this program, the following must be completed:

  1. Full participation/completion of the live program;
  2. Completion of program evaluation acknowledging participation.

Board of Pharmacy credit processing takes place on the 15th of each month.

Cancellations received prior to February 3, 2020, will be charged a $25 administration fee. No refunds will be given after February 3, 2020. No refunds will be given to those registered who do not attend the meeting. Those registered who have not prepaid will be invoiced for the full registration amount.
