Description:

Identify resources for creating a well-being first aid plan to minimize problems that arise from cumulative stress.

Learning Objectives :

  • Describe current challenges in pharmacist self-care that affect patient care.
  • Create a personal wellness vision of your healthiest self.

Speaker: Dr. Meg Little, EdD, RN
University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy

Meg Little is an Assistant Professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Little specializes in optimizing student and provider well-being. Her research and advocacy interests include Indigenous health, social determinants of health, and holistic nursing. She has worked with American Indian partners through community-based participatory research projects. In addition, she works with Minnesota’s Licensed School Nurses to improve medication management and school health. Prior to joining the University, Dr. Little practiced as a registered nurse and educator in a variety of health care settings.


Registration Fees:

The cost is $25 for non-members. MPhA pharmacist members, pharmacy technician members and student members may attend at no cost.


Continuing Education:

This presentation is being submitted to the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy for Continuing Education credit approval (one hour).

To receive Board of Pharmacy credits for this program, the following must be completed:

  • Full participation/completion of webinar either during the live program or the archived presentation

  • Completion of survey post webinar acknowledging participation

Board of Pharmacy credit processing takes place on the 15th of each month.

The Minnesota Pharmacists Association is accredited by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
