Please make sure to use your Minnesota Political Contribution Refund (PCR) dollars before the 2020 election. Let the candidate or political party of your choosing know you matter and that their support of Minnesota pharmacy is important to you.
Minnesota refunds up to $50 per calendar year of contributions made by an eligible voter to a qualified candidate or a recognized political party ($100 per household couple). All you have to do is contribute with a check or online to the candidate or political party you want to contribute to this election cycle. The campaign will then send you a PCR form and a receipt for you to mail in and receive a check back for up to $50/$100 (the PCR has nothing to do with your taxes or tax return). Don’t forget to mention you’re a pharmacist or work for a pharmacy!
To receive a refund, the donor must obtain a political contribution receipt from the qualified candidate or party unit and submit it to the Department of Revenue along with a contribution refund application form. Two versions of the form are available at the quick links on the Minnesota Campaign Finance Disclosure Board’s website (link below).
